I traded my 1998 Chevy Silverado Regular Cab 4X4 w/ 61000 miles. It was in ok shape, the normal dings and dents from people opening their doors into the sides of it. I couldn't believe they gave me $7000.00 for it in a trade. My wife is now sporting an Red LT1 HRR and I'm driving our '05 Chevy Aveo. Where's the justice. Now I'm thinking about trading the Aveo in for another HHR.

I see a trend. People getting rid of their gas guzzlers for HHRs....

1992 Corvette 42,000 miles. Was a secondary car but did not work out well as a primary car.

I traded my 2003 Silverado Extra Cab. Tired of putting so much money out for gas.

I traded in my 1993 Saturn SL2. I loved the car (when my wife got her license I got her a new 99 SW2) but although it only had 65,000 miles it was self destructing. In it's last 2 years, I spent over $1,000 on the A/C, and $400 on the heater. The tranny was getting a common Saturn condition known as 'reverse slam' where it takes several seconds before it goes into reverse, then it does it with a loud clunk and jerk. I was considering rebuilding the tranny ($650 in parts alone) before I checked the engine compression and found 1 cylinder very low and 1 very high. Although the car had many mods, including a super sound system, I knew I had to let her go. (Plus it was rusting around the windows and door sills.) I swapped my mag wheels for my wifes hubcaps, stripped out the stereo and speakers, and traded it in. Luckily, my dealer gave me $500 for it. The speakers are already in my HHR, and as soon as the interface is available I will use the rest of that great system for my beloved HHR.

In a way, I still have a Saturn since the platform is the same as the Ion.

Got rid of my 01 Ford Focus... GLAD to see it go. Piece of junk got less than 20mpg and 2 transmissions! Only thing I ever did aftermarket was lower it!
