What to do/What to do?

OK here is the scenerio I have "Bonnie" 2008 SS loaded, +K&N, Sway Bar, etc.........COMPLETELY LOADED! with about 18,500 miles.... when we bought it last year we paid roughly 27,000 we put 14,000 down and owe about 13,000

now here comes the problem.....

with GM offering 0.0 for 60 months, and 1.9 for 72 months + GM loyality

I could or could not get into a 2009 SS same color and options with bembro's and MFD(Champion Chevy has one) for 24,500

I think my 259.00 a month payment would go down a little or maybe stay the same?

What to Do? What to Do?

Resale these days is pretty poor. You would get killed trading in a 1-year-old car. I bought a used 08 w/5K miles just because of how much cheaper it was than an 09. Just buy the stage upgrade and enjoy what you have.

Yeah, you would get more than that in trade... but not a whole lot more. Your new loan would be much larger, so you would be losing quite a bit of money. By extending the loan, maybe the payments wouldn't be that bad but you would be paying it off for awhile longer. I know I can be fickle about cars, but I would never get rid of one that I liked after only a year! I'm just too cheap.

Your going to take a large hit on trade if you paid $27,000. I also hope that $27K is with taxs and title.

Cheaper to keep her.

I just paid 15,000 for a 2008 with 9k miles. They don't hold their value. I would recommend getting the stage 1 kit and keeping it.

Don't forget the State sales tax deduction in the stimulus bill. I wish they did that last year.
