What I found tonite.

I had class tonite, and after class i was walking out to the parking lot to my car. As I walked past the front of my HHR, I just happened to glance at the driverside front fender as I was unlocking my doors and noticed a dent in the top of my fender. It looks like someone slipped and fell against my car putting a round dent in the top side of my fender. It looks to me like someones elbow made the dent. Its a round dent about 1 1/2" to 2" in diameter, and its not that deep, but it is very noticible. It wasnt there when I left for school today, but there when I left. I wasnt a very happy camper when I seen it to say the least. I was saying quite a few choice words as I was checking it out up close. Next time I am parking in the middle of nowhere where nobody else parks! I am not sure if it can be pulled or popped out easily or not. I was like

If there aren't any 'creases' on the dent, maybe ya could try the old 'toilet plunger' trick. Put a thin coat of oil on the plunger, push it down on the dent and pull up real fast/hard. It's worked for me a couple of times...
Another thing ya can do is check with a 'painless' dent removal outfit, check in the yellow pages...

x2 on the plunger first.. Bummer about yer dent.. bites..

I have long ago gotten in the habit of walking around my ride after it sits out somewhere/anywhere... OCD probably..

But not long ago I was walking around the back end, before I left a place & one of my tail light rings was just laying on the ground.. I would have surely backed over it backing out..

Since then I removed them ALL & the crappy old 3M tape & used silicone on every one... The're not gonna fall off now.

And I park away from others as much as possible..

After watching what a dent removal guy did to one of my cars, I would definitely call one. I was sure it couldn't be removed without real body work but he got it out and you'd never know it was there.

Check it out.

Don't fix it yourself. Todays metals are thin and you may do more damage than you alrady have. I know first hand when I though I did a good job and the dent repair man said you tired to fix it youself.

He should be able to fix if for resonable fee in 20 min or less.

The neighbors from hell ran into my panel's door with their snowblower. Their response was "so what". Had the video cameras shut off and since there was a lack of witnesses, $684 later, its just like new.
