I miss being able to put mountain bike in the back and
still have use of the second row seat.
But I don't miss the 16mpg highway.
I still need a receiver hitch for the HHR so I can haul my bike.

86' Caprice Classic aka "The Landshark"

96k on it when I sold it for 500 bucks. Bought it with 86k for 300 bucks. Drove it for 2 years without a problem.

Streetshaman, check this out.
Before the Suburban I had this 93 Caprice Classic Wagon.
Bought for $400, sold for $1000 (after putting $600 into it.)
Wish I'd kept it, only had 93k miles on it with 5.7 V8.
Though it did have rust holes a football would fit through under the
plastic custom cruiser cladding behind the rear wheels, which the buyer knew about.

Check out this album with shots of all the mint condition interior. Swapped out worn cracked
leather seats for Roadmaster Limited seats and Riviera center console.

Damn another great old chevy!

The interior on 86 was in very good condition also. The roof had the arabian tent effect with the center cloth sagging down. Otherwise the interior was amazing for a 25 year old hooptie.

I don't have any pics on me but it had very little rust. The hood was slightly discolored and the front right bumper was pushed in slightly. Light metallic blue paint, blue interior cloth. Brohaughm edition with no passenger mirror.

My original plan was to restore it, but after 2 years of driving a boat, I wanted to get something a little more maneuverable and responsive to my lead foot.

I probably could have sold it for a grand at least but a friend of a friend was down on his luck and decided I would give it to him for 500.

Much better gas mileage. I think the best I ever got with the Astro was about 18mpg
