Haha potbelly, you make me want to change my air filter just in case I have a gem underneath!

I gave up my 02 sunfire. The only thing I miss is manual tranny and the bluetooth hookup to my phone in the deck. Oh well, I will do some work to my waterfall soon enough!

I'm giving up my 1987 Monte SS Aerocoupe. Haven't sold it yet, but sure hope it sells soon. Mileage from car to car isn't even a contest. Never really thought there would be a day when I would willingly choose any car over a g-body, but after the wife started getting on my case that I was using her Vibe too often, I figured it was time to get my own "sport wagon".

Traded in my rusty but trusty '99 Taurus SE 24V with 136K for my '11 HHR LT exactly one week ago (got $1500 trade-in on it which I thought was pretty good). The Taurus was a nice car, but the past year it's been nickle and dime-ing me to death. Never had any major problems with it but the last straw was it either needed a new exhaust manifold or the whole exhaust system needed to be replaced as it was getting pretty loud. Plus the gas mileage sucked in the city. Going to miss the moonroof and the Mach audio system sounded pretty good. My daughter shed a tear or two as that was basically her car to run around in when she's home from college. She's in New Zealand now for 2 semesters (won't be home until December) so she gets the minivan. Maybe, just maybe I'll let take the HHR once in a while...

lmao I parted with a 2004 Dodge Durango HEMI for my beautiful gas mileage I get with my 2009 HHR. LOVED IT....when I lived in Texas and didn't have to deal with snow. Not so much at the moment as it does NOT do well in snow, regardless of snow tires lol. But I'm not getting rid of her....I'm just buying a winter truck is all lol. Not trading this gas mileage for nothing!

Hi Amy23Army,

Here in Michigan we know how you feel when it comes to driving in the snow. Glad to hear that you're getting great gas mileage on your HHR! Please let us know if there is anything we can assist you with in the future.

I traded in a 2010 Sonata GLS with 91000 miles on it. 4cyl motor was ok on gas but no power, handled like a tank. My SS is much more fun to drive, and gets the same mileage.

Traded my 1978 VW camper bus. I had just finished rebuilding the whole bus, Including installing a 914 engine.
Guess I have a new project now.

I let my first ever paid for in cash vehicle go, a 96 Tahoe. She had just under 215,000 miles on her. Now I am in the deepest search for seat covers!
