I think it's 6,300 while in drive, 3,500 in nuetral or park !

On the Solstice, peak Hp is made at 6600 rpm with a five speed. I haven't found anything regarding a redline, yet. Was does the tach stay is redline?

Just found with a Malibu that 6700 rpm is the cutoff. Even with my dad's LAP, I've never had to make it past 6200 rpm to get going.

Are you planning a build??

By redline I am meaning the limit of revs.

Thank You both, I know I'm reading 6500 rpms in drive & go-pedal matted..
& doesn't feel like it's hitting a rev limiter. I've just never wound it that tight before..

Do we have rev-limiters ??

No no racing, just testing.. & Mine is automatic

Planning a build: Not exactly, just testing some mods.

YVWAIA ,
I understood it Kevin, just doesn't explain why mine will twist to 6500 in D. & feels like it will go higher. But not gonna press my luck w/valves & pistons..

I don't rev it hard in neutral, either..

Hey Billy, does yours cut out or hit the limiter while in park or nuetral? Should cut out at 3,500 rpm! With our trifecta tune I had the limiter set at 6,500 for nuetral or park and removed with no restrictions while in drive .....

Every car has a fuel cutoff/rev limiter unless you mess with the computer. I gotta go with Dilvernit on being correct. I never had a 2.4 so I was just pulling info for you. Hope your not going past that regularly.
