it's actually a sky-light for the little gremlin that lives under your dash. He comes out at night and messes with components in the car so that you can go to the dealership where they feed him. GM trained hundreds of thousands of them in the early 2000's to do just that.

It's option AVM. Stands for Active Viewing by Mother in law-she wants to know everyones business. She emailed me what you did last night, you should be embarrassed. I would cover that thing up if I were you...

Try this again...its the inside winshield washer nozzle ...and on those hot days u can turn on the defroster and get that cooooooooool refreshing mist in your face feel.......otherwis e it gives off a radio signal alerting aliens of your location for future abduction encounters.....
