I'm surprised no one has mentioned the design of the shifter and how it's always jamming the key in the ignition. I've become a pro at taking the trim around the window switches out to adjust the pin.

How about the DIC? I only ever really alternate between "INST MPG" and "AVG MPG" or whatever its called...

To switch between the two, I need to cycle through the whole mess. FWD and BACK should have been 2 buttons to cycle, not INFO. It could have been a little rocker switch.

My really only complaint about my HHR is the windshield like others have said. More so it's the placement of the mirror. I think the mirror is too large for the size of the windshield. I'm at a disadvantage because I have an LS with manual seat and I can't lower it enough to see well. I find myself having to look over then under the rear view mirror to see while driving. It's a pain.

I did notice the placement of the door lock pegs too. I'm always putting my elbow on the door but can never get comfortable because they jab you. LOL

The mirror can be adjusted so the top of it almost hits the headliner. Turn mirror face down, push up, realign mirror.

I use this.....

These were used in the 40's and 50's for the same thing...... This is hardly a new issue.
