That's what I used. I supplemented the sandpaper in the kit with additional grades of paper above and between what came in the kit to make the sanding/polishing easier and just took my time with the process, being careful to tape around the edges so as to not scratch the paint. Came out great and it's lasted so far. Much cheaper and easier than replacing the entire lights.

I just came here to ask exactly this...
the new headlights I got didn't come with bulbs, and I thought I might as well upgrade to LEDs if I'm gonna swap them out (and tint them), but I'm paranoid cus I see so many BAD LED jobs on the road, some strobe like crazy
I bookmarked the 2 you linked above... they do both low/high beams, right?

anybody know of a good brand/style of yellow/amber LED for the blinker?

I used a yellow flasher, white running light, with a 50 watt resistor for the corner or turn signal lights. I think they are called switchbacks.

My Morimotos don't blink but are very pricey.
They have an in line generator that prevents that.
The Lasfits that I had in didn't blink either..
Both of them were 5700k and 2400 lum.
Any higher of k and the lights turn towards blueish color.
I also installed Lasfit Switchback led in the turn signals/park lights/DRLs ('06)..
No resistor needed, but , again pricey

are the resistors built in, or is that something extra I need to get?

I'll have to look at the Lasfits... the Morimotos are a bit rich for me

It’s in the link, the bulbs are separate from the resistors

These from EBay come with the resistors

These have the resistors wired into the harness
