I know what you mean damn salt and winter has ruined all my chrome add-ons except for chevrolet scripts, caused havoc on my rims, and paint chips on the front half of hhr

I know one thing for sure, YOU WILL NOT BE GETTING MY RIMS BACK!
I love them!
Today I was at a gas station and when I was leaving a guy went behind my HHR and was loooking, I thought something was wrong.
He was looking at the exhaust, then the rims, stated "Boy your son sure has a nice car" He found out very quicklly that I have no son and that NEMO was all MINE.
