Cool What's your favorite feature that you didn't expect?

For both my wife and I, we really like that instantaneous MPG calculator in the DIC. If all cars had that I bet we'd save 10-20 percent in gas bills. In fact, I leave it on all the time and entertain myself while commuting by seeing just how high I can get it.

I agree that is what I have it on all the time. I can't seem to get the MPG it says I can but I'm also not a slow poke so that may be why

Hmmm, that is the feature that I find completely useless!. What I like most, after driving for 6 months, is that Chevy finally got the 4 cylinder engine built right. It reminds me a lot of the old bullet-proof Saab engines. It has the feel of the european styled engines, and the engineering is top-notch for this engine. Instead of dreaming up new gas guzzling muscle cars, someone had enougj forsight to try a more econimical approach. The amount of horsepower they can crank out of these Ecotec engines, with minor mods is incredible. Now just a little more improvement on the automatic transmissions used with the 4's , and we'll be set for the future.

The EcoTec line should have the "feel" of the European engines, because that is its origin. The basic design began many years ago with Opel (now German GM). No Chevy creativity here!

This may, or may not be a feature.

I often notice older gents having a nostalgic hernia when they look at lil' ol' HHR.

My favorite unexpected feature: I never expected my car to give me a social life and to meet some of the coolest people ever.

I <3 SOCal HHR's and think of the people in our group as family.

I knew this car inside and out before I bought it, so nothing was a surprise!

The DIC and all the info it gives you. Nice having that info with a touch of your finger.

The amount of adequate power that the 2.4 has, I expected a dog of a car, pleasantly surprised! (No disrespect to dogs intended)

And whenever I get to positive equity and GM Canada puts the SS on sale I will get one. (Probably around 2021 or maybe never on both).
