Where are all the HHR's?

This is what I don't understand. I think the car is great-although it is taking me some getting used to (I have always had sports cars). It is a new experience to be so high up. But-I never see them in any of the Chevy ads in the newspaper or on TV. I have seen exactly two of them on the road in the past 4 weeks. I was told be dealers in PA that they are sold before they even reach the lot, yet in NYC dealers have several at each location. Is it not a city car???

I keep hearing the same thing, that they can't keep them on the lots. But here in Rochester every local Chevy dealer has at least three on the lot at all times and a couple of weeks ago the dealer I bought mine off had seven on the lot. Yet I have only seen a handfull in my area on the road. All of the ones I have seen have been bone stock except one. To my knowledge no one in my area other than myself and the HHR I saw painted gold have started to customize their HHRs yet. I have seen a few TV ads though. I'm surprised that I haven't seen any magazine ads. Name: vaderxmas.gif

I know the Chevy Dealer in Staten Island has had an LS on Display for over 2 weeks now. They did have in the showroom a Fully Loaded 2LT. Most times driving I barely see one. One day 2 weeks ago I seen 4 of them on the road and one was following me.

In south Florida they can't keep in the lots either, but you see a lot of them on the road, they are still in stock form but I think that is due to the fact that there is not a lot of aftermarket parts for them yet.

06hhrjr Drive around East Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale. Any rare car that your looking to see you will def see one for sure over there or Along A1A. Those were the only two places that I have seen the HHR in your neck of the woods.

I have seen THREE HHR's in Cincinnati, Ohio so far.
One in a driveway about a mile down from my house, saw one on the highway, and another in a Meijer's parking lot. That's it. Most of the people I talk to (in terms of friends and family) don't even know what an HHR is or what it looks like.

It's funny that they are in such high demand at the dealership yet the people I talk to say "What's an HHR?"

Hopefully in early January, I can point to mine outside and say, "one of those".

Man, I want my car. =(

last month while driving to Orlando I saw 4, two on the highway, and two in Orlando area cruising the city. Also, in Miami in the last couple of weeks I've seen a total of about 6-8 of them sporatically.

I read somewhere that over 32,000 HHR's were sold since august. So they are out there. But there are only over 300 members on this website. So we make up only .009375% of owners/fans
