I have some Airhorns I was going to put on my HHR SS that I had lying around where is the wiring and or horn located so that I can hook it up????

in the left front, Behind the wheel well liner.

 

There are a few screws under the left front fender liner and some plastic pins to remove. I replaced my single OEM unit with a dual tone horn. The fuse for the horn is #60 and the relay for the horn is #55 both are located within the fuse block under the hood. I was inspired to make the change from other posts here at chevyhhr.net, I had to remove the OEM horn to make room for the dual unit. I performed a load test to assure I was not exceeding a 10 amp draw from the new horns. The wire gauge (size) to the horn from the fuse block does not appear to be able to handle much more than 10 amps.
