I know I overpaid for my '10 Panel with 32K miles, but when you just have to have one, you have to have one!

Agreed, it depends on your skills also!
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy and repair that Merlot with the quarter panel damaged, a bumper cover and a week of gentle dent repair and fix the rear axle. But that was a younger me, not now!

Not sure from this pic, but it looks like the front end may have damage too ? Also the front of the running board looks damaged.

It does appear the door is bent and the front fender , maybe out of alignment and the driver or first responders folded the door open to get the driver out.

It looks like the rear wheel is not pointing in the right direction. Evidence of the damage to the rear axle, not minor.

Over 100,000 miles, you could sink a couple thousand dollars into it, and with a salvage title, it will be worth about $2,500.

It’s a 2.4 that’s pulled a trailer.

My favorite color. But isn’t that the premium tint coat that’s a b to get right, let alone match?

If you bought for $0 and took it to a body shop for repair, you probably couldn’t sell it for 1/2 of what you had in it.

If you needed a wagon for your moonlight paint business, bang out the fender(s) and put a rack on. $500. Maybe, depending on the cost to fix the axle.

If you’re a retired body man and really love the car, $500, maybe, depending on the cost to fix the axle.

But, what’s $1000?
