That looks like the 2-tone I saw early this summer on my way to Cape Cod.
It's probably not it because the one I saw wasn't on a trailer

Drive it like you stole it.
Um, if anyone drives it they probably did steal it.
Think I'll take my $135K custom for a cross-cuntry road trip

Not worth that! I would say a few thousand more than a new HHR....honestly. Not too many people want an HHR, let alone THAT HHR...sorry.

He had the proto Jet chip. They did NOT give an extra 50hp like he tried saying. I never could figure out how he'd even know since the car was/is rarely driven. Only has 1000 miles on it!

I'd rather have the bones of the Canepa/So-Cal/GM EcoTech salt flats racer instead. That is MY ultimate HHR. God Bless, Marc

I'm not familiar with this whole "sponsored project" thing. Can someone explain the deal? How did he get a new HHR for a dollar? And don't all the people who did things to the car have a stake in it?And if he didn't put up any of his own cash(beyond the dollar for the car) why does he need the money for another "sponsored" car?Something smells here.
I'm surprised Barris hasn't tried to claim the thing for his own if he did ANY work on it.He's known to be good for that(see the Ala Kart).
While orange and silver isn't my favorite color combo, this one isn't too bad.But that interior has to go.It's garish and overdone with all that suede in it.I'd feel like I had been swallowed by a carnivorous pumpkin.
$50K for this thing?!I know we all love our HHRs but come on!Get realistic.Maybe he should be forced to actually drive the thing on the road and see the effect of the mods on it.I bet he wouldn't do most of them the same way again.
