My 2009 LT clicked 170,000 earlier this week.
It's never even had brake pads replaced!!

(How much longer before I have to change that synthetic oil???)

lots of miles

Well, My 2008 HHR has now 191000 miles on it. Just oil changes and brakes, and a bunch of tires. have not had any problems with it, well except two weeks ago when a one ton Dodge truck backed in to it in a parking lot. I wanted to repaint it any way. Good car over all.

My 06 Spring Edition has 149K. Still running pretty good, although having some problems with front suspension.

How many miles on your HHR?

This thread might already be out there but just wondering how many miles some of us have on our HHR's? I had a discussion/argument with a coworker over the quality of US autos. He has almost 300,000 miles on an old Toyota and you would think that ugly ol' thing was made of gold. That's a discussion for another day just curious what some of the higher mileage numbers are on our cars. My 2010 just rolled 78,000. Unless something catastrophic happens I don't plan on getting rid of her anytime soon and when she is paid off just moving her to a back up car. So hopefully will be hitting some high numbers myself.
Thanks

Great minds must think alike - I was just going to post the very same question!

My 2008 has 189XXX miles, and will be turning over 190,000 this week. As I commute 150 miles round trip, 4 days per week, the miles add up quick. My miles are mostly highway miles, averaging 56 miles per hour. I'm looking to add at least another 100k before I retire (3 more years), and then it'll be a lot less. So far, this is the absolute best vehicle I've owned! My last car was a 2003 Ford Focus ZTW, and I drove that for 215,000 miles, but the maintenance and repairs were horrible! Cost me $5,500 in maintenance - not counting another $600 for oil changes.

So far, the only thing I've had to replace was the passenger side wheel bearing ($$$) and front brakes and rotors (my labor + parts). The only thing I'm concerned about now is replacing the timing chain / water pump. Are there any signs of the chain stretching and needing replacement, other than the engine dies? Timing chain replacement is about $1,800, no matter where you go.

It'll be interesting to see the mileage on some of the other HHR's.

Rich

Well I am positive a thread with the identical (or nearly) title is out there.

I will do a search and then append these posts to it.
