Why it's hard to find the correct HHR parts.

I was looking around at one of the parts ads that pops up. Clicked on their link for HHR rear brake pads. I "assumed" it would be for the 08-10 SS since that was the only model that had 4 wheel disc brakes.
Hmm. No wonder we have problems getting the correct #'s for parts. Not even sure where this vendor came up with this info.

Chinese brake parts man. LOL

Autozone also has some sort of "heavy duty" brake package for the HHR.... even for my 2006.....

I had the same problem on my sons SS cobalt, it had the brembo brakes on the front and from I found out the rears even though were GM's were different, so as these were basicly a reskinned cobalt ???

Many of the parts suppliers make the assumption that any car built on the Delta platform uses all of the same parts.

Even between Cobalt models they are different; the Turbo models have different parts than the Super Charged and different parts than the base model, and some are totally different than any HHR, G6, Ion etc.

One thing that makes the HHR different is that the HHR is classified as a half ton truck by GM.
