Its nice to have a 4 wheel drive in the stable for occasions like that, its even better if you don't care if some one runs into it. Folks around here haven't a clue how to drive in snow it's a real demolition derby when it does, the body shops rejoice !

Drove to school on Wed, took the SS home by lunch. Could not get traction in the 3 inches of snow that fell in 3 hours. Need to either park it or get some snow tires. Or drive the Jeep.
Glad I was no where near South Buffalo, Lancaster, W. Seneca, or Depew. 4 feet of snow is a lot of digging.

I could not agree more! Like I said.. when it comes to winter driving (in snow country, that is) it's all about the tires. Put some good snows or all-weathers with an aggressive tread on an HHR and you've got a great snow machine.
