The problem is small unibody trucks are limited in use and appeal in the market. Many have tried but they Just never have done well.

There is a long shot that the g8 truck might retrun as a Elcamino. The g8 GDP is set to return as a Chevy in 2012. If does well we may see a limited number come in. We will just have to wait and see.

There are good odds you will see this now as a Chevy around 2012-2013.

Witht he G8 coming back as a Chevy in 2012 and a Larger Holden as a Chevy police car in 2011 this will again open the door for the Ute.

With a V8, RWD and the ability to sell these in low volume while still making a profit may give us a shot at this one.

Mark Reuss GM North America president addressed the Ute this week as well as GM's Bob Lutz. Seeing Mark ran Holden recently odds are good we may see it if the economy does not kill it before it reaches our shore.

Yes this time it will be a El camino.
