Will Chevy Build An SS Panel ?

I Think Chevy Would Miss The Boat If They Do Not Offer The SS Package On The Panel Body.I Have An SSR Now And I'm Ready To Buy An HHR To Keep Her Company.I Know If They Offer This Option It Will Sell Well.I Guess If They Don't I'll Have To Buy Panel Doors And Install Them On The HHR SS.

I agree! The panel looks so great with custom graphics on the sides. It would be great to offer the SS package also. Think of the possibilities!

I doubt they'll make it. The panel is supposed to be a work/business vehicle.

Just don't see there being much of a demand for an SS version.

I agree. There prolly wouldn't be enough orders for a Panel SS to make it worth GM's while. Now maybe if the HHR SS takes off and is a huge sales hit, then maybe down the road they would consider it.

But I won't be holding my breath.

GM SS Panel Reply

I emailed Wendy Clark at GM this was her reply...

Thank you for your interest - the only HHR SS version we currently offer is the one unveiled at the Woodward Dream Cruise.

It would be really be so easy for them to have a SS panel. When they set out to promote the hhr two of the custom shops made panels... besides why would anyone want to have their children in the back set while they are going 150 mph?

Have a little decaf, turn off the caps lock, and relax.

All we said was that GM will not find that there is a large enough market to sell it as a production model. Customizers are a small, very small, segment of the market.
