wind noise right side mirror
hi,
just got a 09 lt hhr,now on the hyway at about 50 mph or 80 kmh,i have a small bugging wind noise coming from the drivers side mirror, tried all kind of position for the mirror glass, nothing doing,i roll down the window and put my hand between the door and mirror and the noise goes away, increased speed the same, not from door seal because when i open the window the noise still there,is there a problem on these cars with stream lining ??
anyone noticed that on your car.
thanks guys.

Just take it ack in as it is an easy fix. My driver side made noise. All they have to do is pop the back over off and seal it up.
If you can remove the cover yourself you can fix it at home easily. Getting the cover odd is the hardest part.

See and follow the link in post #16 of this thread:

In the future look in the "Problems/Service Issues" area of this site - this is a hot topic at this time "again". That thread started in 2006.
Added: TSB I believe is Technical Service Bulletin.
One more thing, does Canada have "Right Hand Drive" vehicles - your title seems to suggest so.

mirror noise fixed up good
hiya, finally found my drivers side mirror wind noise, all it took was a bit of dum dum from the dealer, the was coming from the top near the side window, where the mirror cap meets the mirror fram, all you do is apply a bit of dum dum from the dealer in the crack and voila no mor noise.i suggest taping
the crack first with electric tape and go for a little ride and see if the noise goes away, that's what i did and it worked great,no more wind noise.
good luck
see ya on the road.
