What is the change in the radio? I was aware of the wiper change at speed. I can not get to my owners manuel for a while as our HHRs are burried under snow.

I think you can set it so it gets louder the faster you go to compensate for more road and wind noise.

If you can't get to your owners manual, this site has them FREE for download. I never waste my time going out to the car. I have a shortcut on my computer desktop so it's only a click away.

Just in case you can't download the owners manual:

Speed Compensated Volume (SCV): Radios with
the Speed Compensated Volume (SCV) feature
automatically adjust the radio volume to compensate
for road and wind noise as the vehicle speeds up
or slows down, so that the volume level is consistent.
To activate SCV:
1. Set the radio volume to the desired level.
2. Press MENU to display the radio setup menu.
3. Press the softkey under the AUTO VOLUM tab on
the radio display.
4. Press the softkey under the desired Speed
Compensated Volume setting (OFF, Low, Med,
or High) to select the level of radio volume
compensation. The display times out after
approximately 10 seconds. Each higher setting
allows for more radio volume compensation at
faster vehicle speeds.
