Windshield wipers and snow
I got caught in a big snow storm and the car performed well except the windshield wipers they kept clogging up to the point I could not see ended up pulling over and spending the night in a road side dive. I don't live where we get a lot of snow but travel where they do so i want to be prepared. Any suggestions, wiper recommendations or......
Thanks

I have had the same experience. The defroster does not warm the entire window, unfortunately the wipers cover some of the areas that stay cold. It has to do with the position and size of the defroster vent and the angle of the windshield.
Drove me crazy the other day on a 400 mile drive in very cold "winter weather". Good washer fluid does not even help much. The ice built up on the blade not between the bridging.
No good advice, just agreement. Maybe get an auxiliary defroster, the kind designed to warm the car up.

IMO: ICE build up on the blades is fairly normal! Not a lot to help, when the temps drop the blades stiffen and build up ice, even winter blades do it, I am going to try RAINEX on the blades and see if it helps,
