On a happy note, I won first place at my local car show tonight. Ironic, since I just got that dent yesterday at my dealer. Plus, I got home late and only had time to rinse off my car. No real clean-up at all. And, it there was the largest crowd so far this season-close to 70 cars. Amazingly, a lot of people hung around my HHR before the awards, taking pictures and talking about it. In fact, as I pulled up, one of the club officials that was guiding me into the parking space asked me about the engine and car since I was chirping the tires each time I moved the car. He was very impressed, which probably had a lot to do with me winning!

Thanks, guys (and gals). The first time when my son was given a trophy at the beginning of the summer, I believe it was not really for my car-more for my son. But tonight, they really called out my car number and described the car-Red HHR with yellow flames-so I know that it was really for me!

Now I can put the trophy by my car at future shows

Good work Lee!
I go to a show each week and people love to talk about the HHR when I bring it. It is so cool you got an award. You must add something to the mix that they like. That is good

At our show, a PT person said it was the first time she had seen an HHR up close. As more of us get them, our cars will migrate in greater numbers to these shows.
Again, great to hear some show promoters are cathing on to the uniquness that is the HHR!

COOLEST RIDES on the PLANET

When ever you guys/gals ( other Regions ) have a Run , You must take a drive around, on parade, like we (Mid-Central) did. It was a real crowd pleaser.
When we went through the Drive-in,( in formation ) Man ,I got goosebumps, the crowd was actually cheering.

We have the COOLEST RIDES on the PLANET...
