Is this on all HHR's - even the LS? I haven't noticed any difference. Wipers still wipe at a stop & at speed

I'm pretty sure all have the speed sensitive wipers. When you hit 50mph+, the delay speeds up. If it's just misting barely, I just use the mist function anyway. Always have. Otherwise, I have no problems with mine. At low delay speeds, there is usually enough crap coming from the car in front of me to keep the delay at least on the lowest speed.

Below 50 it is the same (in my HHR): About 12 seconds between wipes at the lowest setting, whether you're stopped or going 40 MPH.

I'll have to get above 50 and see what happens.

I haven't messed around with the wipers all that much but the other day it was raining and I trying to find a speed in between the lowest and the next up. The lowest was may 5-6 seconds apart, but the next click was like 1 second apart. I wanted 3-4.

I'm sure I will get plenty more opportunities to try it out and spring comes around.

Ah, for the days when we only had three options: off, on and faster. In fact, I can remember having a vehicle that had "intermittent" wipers, and it was a great new feature, as described by the salesman when I bought the vehicle. That "intermittent" setting was a single delay speed, not adjustable. Not so long ago ...
