Wiring diagrams?

Just woundering if any of you know or can get the wiring diagram for the window switches. I am moving the factory switches and need to use different switches, but the stock ones have wires going to a circit board.

thanks.

Where are you moving them to?

I hated the switches on the armrest in Fords but thought placing them vertical in the door wouldn't be so bad. The Ford switches get wet and fry the motor. I had this happen on two different models.

I'm moving them up on the waterfall. I like having them in the mid of the car. Thats were they where in all of my camaros, so I'm used to them.
the reason I'm moving them is that I'm molding in cup holders into that area of the consale. I also have other things I'm doing to it.

I have the 2006 HHR factory service manual that shows the wiring diagrams. They're at home now and I'm at work. If you would like, I could scan them and the page(s) with the window switches and then E-mail them to you.

Be sure and post pictures when you're done. That's one mod I'd really like to have done to my HHR.

Thanks steve that would be great. I did get a page from the dealer, but I would like to see the whole thing. Where the wires start and end at each side.

And I'll post pix when its done.

Sorry about taking so long to respond. Last week my mother broke her hip and we have been busy arranging for her care.

What page did the dealer give you? My factory manual has one page for the power window controls. It shows the mains switch assembly, the two remote switches, the power window motors, and the power source (fuse, etc.). What else are you looking for?

I also have a page that shows the mating connectors to the switch(and other components) and the terminals for them. It's been my experience that the connectors are outrageously expensive from GM and it's usually better to cut and splice into the wiring (as long as its done properly).
