When I drive I listen to an 8 GB thumb drive most of the time. It has over 1100 songs on it and when I put it on 'random' there's no rotation.

That's the one that I have right now. after the 2 weeks is up, I'm going to sign up for the 5 months for $25. That will get me through the long rides during ski season.

After that I will let it run out again. my normal commute to work is only 3 miles each way, so 13 bucks a month is not worth is for me, to listen to a radio

Nice to have when the only recievable channel is the local classic rock station..though it isnt the normal as seen on TV collection of music, they really crank out the GOOD classic R&R..But still want the modern to go with it..and I dont have to set behind a monitor searching, downloading and transfering music thats ever changing

Mine doesn't have XM radio lol, but it doesn't bother me cause I probably wouldn't use it even if I did other than for the free promo you're talking about. After that it would probably be forgotten like I didn't even have it so it wasn't a big deal for me. My dad has XM on his Cobalt and my mom has Sirius on her Nitro. They like paying for it though so I guess it's whatever floats your boat lol.

I despise terrestrial radio, a bunch of boring dults that play the same rotation of music ever 2 hours with dj's that are afraid to say a swear word.

Fm sucks.

The only available FM around here are a bunch of country stations, and one classic rock station that appears to have a daily playlist of about 15 songs in constant rotation.

I have a Pioneer XMp3 portable player with cradles in both my vehicles, and one in the house.

I've had XM since 2006, and couldn't live without it, especially during baseball season, when I'll listen to 3 or 4 ball games a day.

As a baseball fan, it's a treat to hear the home team announcers from all across the country. I listen to as many Dodgers home games as I can, to hear the immortal Vin Scully (as well as Charlie Steiner and Rick Monday). And the always entertaining Bob Uecker is still doing the Brewers games.

I've had the opportunity to listen to "The Best of Sirius" during this promotion (not really interested in them), which ends (ended?) today. I figure your "free" channels will go away today some time.

I installed sirius when I got my 06 HHR. We have it at work and change type of music rock, country, nascar, sports, what ever the talk or mode in the shop is thats whats playing. if one of the guys gets pissy, on go's that old twangy cry in your beer country. In no time were all back cuttin up and back at it. Thats why I like Sat. Radio...
