Yellow Hhr's

From the pictures they look like 2LTs. They have the bright chrome package with polished upgrade wheels and roof racks. Would a taxi company want a top of the line vehicle for service? I would guess it's more likely a small business of some kind, but that's just a guess.

Found out today that they do belong to a company called "The Maids". My husband had seen all 5 over at their office and I seen one driving around today. I'm still trying to get the other 2 pictures up.

Hey Robin......
A lot of guessing here. So, why not stop in and inquire about them....if you have time.
I know several years ago, GM had a fleet of taxi cabs in SoCal. Really a good deal for the taxi companies because essentially all they paid was the "normal" fleet pricing. GM painted the cars the preferred color and maintained them, above the normal "service" kinds of stuff. They had some experimental components and taxi testing was a good way to check the durability.
I don't think it would be financially beneficial for a company to have the dealer repaint. Once a color, out of the norm, is determined GM could run them through the line as a group......much like they do the upscale/upgrade colors of Cadillac, Corvette, etc. Dependending on quantity, maybe a $1000 per. A dealer couldn't do it for that.

I'll see what I can find out from the dealer.
