For you Panel owners...........

Do the back door buttons on your remote open the back doors or do you have to use the buttons on the dash only?

Yes, I just bought this panel from a Chev dealership in NC, I drove 2 hours one way to get it then again today for them to tell me that they don't work with the remote . Said the remote is generic for the Chev mini vans. Funny thing every other button works even the remote start. Made the trip just for this problem.

I know on my 08 there is a separate module for the remote rear doors. When the dealer proggramed my key fob they didn't know they had to program the rear doors in another window on there scan tool. I had to take it back for there learning experience. With that said I seem to remember the 08 panel being the first year for the remote rear doors.

Then yes you should have remote rear door openers. You may need to educate your dealer I little. My dealer told me at first that the remotes didn't open the rear doors. When I informed them that the remotes opened the rear doors before they reprogrammed my car they rechecked it and tolded me they found a different program that they had to go into to program the rear doors for the panel.
