Sometimes the rear doors will stick closed if not used that often.
Try this,

Grab the rear door at the very top roof line , push and hold the release button on the fob for the correct rear door and gently PULL on the door to open it. It may only release one notch and try it again to release the door fully.

The door rubbers can stick and hold the rear doors closed so it seems to not be working. IF you get it open wash the door jambs and lube the rubbers, and see if they start working. Once in awhile I have had to pull on the top of one of my rear doors to help release it from closed, a clean and lube and all is well for awhile, I dont open my passenger rear door all that often so thats the one that will stick closed every so often.

When the door is fully stuck closed the first thing you think is it's no longer working.

Worth a try.

That's not the problem, the car looks new. The buttons on the dash work. The fob buttons do not. But thanks I will try anything ,you never know.

I wonder if there is an option in the DIC? Or, maybe a "child lock" switch on the door? Just guessing not a panel owner.

Don- Not that I'm aware of in the DIC, & No 'child lock' since Panels have no interior door handles (on rear doors)..

Edit: I meant no rear door locking knobs....

Mine has interior door handles, they work as they should also. I called the dealership yesterday and you know I will never get that 20 min back. Total waste of my time. If its fixed I will half to pay. They are not going to make it right. It was even checked off on the GM Certified checklist that was in the car. I wonder what else they didn't check???

I'm hoping ChevyMgr can answer this for us...I have an '07 Panel LT. Can i purchase a fob like the one Sleeper graciously shared the pic of and have it programmed to use it to open the rear doors?

Sadly ChevyMgr is no long on here. But I to answer your question no the 07 did not have the rear door release with the key fob. The key fob rear door release came out in 2008. There is a added rke module for the rear doors that was not there in 2007.
