Is Your HHR a Winter Driver?

We are lucky enough to have many cars to choose from in my family, but I primarily use an HHR SS and a Chevy S10 4x4 for my own personal use. Up here in the northeast, when the snow falls, the SS stays in the garage and the 4x4 pickup sees the ravages of winter. While it saves my "black beauty", I really miss driving her. Can't wait until the salt is washed away to run her around again.

Anyone else store their HHRs during the bad weather months?

.........*Winter*.................. *Summer*..........

My 4x4 is a piece of crap so I'm selling it.
I'll be driving the HHR year round.

I bum rides off of people whenever I can so I don't have to let the heat out of the garage or get the Chevy saltier.
I still haven't washed her since the snow/salt started so I can see she'll probably rot to pieces in 10 years.
I'll wash her later today, she's been good to me.

I'm up in Binghamton, my SS is my "winter rat" or daily driver. I have a 2000 Trans Am Firehawk that I drive in the summer.

Now I have my dads silverado for 6 weeks so the SS will sit more.

As much as I'd like to park my SS in the winter, it's my work vehicle.

Lately, it looks like a powdered doughnut.

If the temps go above freezing this weekend, I'm going to visit our local car wash.

My choice is the Isuzu or the HHR. Since the truck is a RWD truck, that pretty much chinches that the HHR will be the bad weather vehicle.
