Is Your HHR a Winter Driver?
#22
Yea, but it's rare if we see a few snow flurries.
If we do, seems everything just closes & waits till it's over. So other than cold, it's fine..
Getting to an age where pulling a bike out in cold just ain't as much fun as it once was..
Seems the fireplace is slightly more inviting on the coldest days..

my daily driver has only seen snow once ( south Louisiana ), but wasn't a problem. the only issue i've had was that the past two mornings my air ride suspension has been frozen in place. i guess the small amount of water in the air lines froze in the pressure gauges and valves, not letting me lift my hhr up to ride height. it takes about 30 min of idling to warm em up. so other than that, and the cold weather squeaking, my ride does pretty well

Everything I've ever owned has been a daily driver including my Chrysler Crossfire Trying following someones tracks in the snow in that The HHR is used daily except for days we get heavy accumulations. Then I just drive the Focus. It's like a mini tank going through the snow

Wife's '07 is a daily driver aslo. Does much better now that we got new tires on it a couple weeks ago. But, even with the new tires, it don't care for our snow-covered iced-over rutted dirt driveway that has a good slant to it. Does good out on the roads though.
