While I do have a soft spot for that GMC pickup you had, I really like that Caprice! My grandpa had a '95 one that was purplish.... I about grew up in that car! And to think, I could have had it for my first car, but turned it down.... But I guess I wouldn't have the truck...

My HHR makes my 4th GM vehicle.

'82 Camaro
'87 Camaro RS
'87 Corvette - link to pic

'06 HHR LS

It's funny that since I've grown older that I've gone from wanting more HP to wanting more MPGs.

We were into Porsches from 1980-2003 and VWs 84 GTI, 88GTI 92 Passett, no Chevs. Back into Chevs again haveing fun with the HHR, we tow it behind our 35' Winebago (502 GM). The Chevelle, was a 6cly with 3 speed now a warm 327 and 4 speed.

I have been a car guy all my life, now 65, wy wife wishes I would "grow up" don't think that is going to happin!

4 GM vehicle and that is all I have owned. But then again I am only 24.

'93 Grand Prix -dad bought new in '93 and gave it to me and my brother for
1st car till bro totalled it
'96 Olds Acheiva- Dad bought for me. Got me through College. Sold for '09 SS
'99 Cavelier- Wife bought before we were married still have
'09 HHR SS- hands down the best car I have owned not the list is to great.

My dad's retirement is through GM (retired from Delphi) so he has always said if I buy a foreign car then I better plan on parking on the street. Still have a spot in my heart for Luxery German Cars. (doesn't include VW)

1st GM product in 34 years. Had switched to Fords but friends sold their dealership recently. Had nothing but good reliable service from the Fords - cars and trucks. Liked the HHR SS and figured it might help GM survive. Too little too late.
