do any of you guys/gals have an aftermarket intake on your SS? If so let me know what you thing. Im looking into one and its only $130 with a dry AEM filter on it. Thanks in advance

 

I haven't bought an intake yet 'cause i only got my SS on thursday, but the only one i've seen that actually tested to improve horse and torque was the CGS intake.

 

I haven't seen any worthy of the SS yet. Be careful if it gets it's air from within the engine compartment, you could loose some HP do to the extra heat. The stock system is very good, and unless you want it for looks, there isn't anything better..... YET.

 

Yeah thats what i thought because the aftermarket one goes right over the engine and it would heat soak like no other and the srock on e we have is a cold air so ill just be leaving it stock for now
