Hmmm. This kind of hits home. Once I took an HHR SS for a test drive, I decided not to care what the Toyota/Honda owning "mushroom" public thinks about my ride. It was too much fun to pass up. And remember that I traded in a Cadillac CTS for my HHR SS.

I can speak on this from first hand experience; not from something I read in Motor Trend or Consumer Reports in between filling up rich people's gas tanks like the idiot at the Sunoco station.

I happily traded in this Cadillac CTS for this HHR SS

I live in a small city and I usually am the guy that drives the "different" car. Usually because It is a performance car and not picked out because its in the fast and the furious. The funny thing is that everyone is always so curious as to how fast it is or of course you get the typical negative feedback that its not "in style". That's when you just blow the doors off there car and smoke them by three or four car lengths. Not to much later you will see the same model car start to pop up everywhere. Never fails. Im sure this guy upon getting off of his high profile job went home and got on the internet to see how bad ass the HHR SS really is.

X 2,

I'm surprised to hear there are still 'pump jockeys'....I sure haven't seen any in many moons. Self Serve around my neck of the woods..

This remind me when I purchased my HHR. When some peers from my workplace saw my hhr, they said "Oh man, your car is looks a tiny hearse", or other said "you bought a car that just a gay can drive"...They can still driving their South America made crappy cars...However, almost daily I notice several people looking to my HHR...
