Were you NLS or just regular shifting? Also if you could afford the down time and money, you could send the trans off to ZZP to be upgraded and not ever have to worry about it ever again.

i bet third gear snap ring pushed off....when they built the gearbox the preload was on the loose side and well add a couple hp or more and you know the end result.......lucky for us the f35 is easily and cheap to be had....not sure what zzp is doing to beef up these poor guys there is just not much there ( my shop and very few other will actually build these because of the special tools needed and all the preloads)

Sorry to hear that bart.
But some thing tells me you located the trans , Then went out and destroyed yours,
So you could get the LSD.

I'll try and make it by best buy this week.

You guys want a trans with a blown 3rd gear to do work on?? ill sell it dirt cheap
