eibach says they don't plan on offering anything. the tech guy said i'd have problems with negative camber if i did. i'm not looking to put it in the weeds. i was thinking 1-1 1/2" all the way around. i did'nt think that was asking too much.

i think the suspension is set up pretty good right now . if you did do it you would prolly have to do alot of work to get it back as good as it is now.

i'm just going for the look more than anything. the gap between the tire and fender lip is a bit much for my liking. i don't whip this thing into turns anyways. i like hammering on it in a straight line.

I envision some bottoming out of the ground affects.

I'm not lowering mine. We have snow banks to plow through out here in Colorado. I am worried about the gound effects as it is. And I am seriously thinking about switching out the side skirts for black running boards. I am also going to run Blizzaks in the winter here. We got a ton of snow last year, which isn't typical, but it could certainly happen again.

If you just throw OTC lowering springs on it, it will lower it. It will also decrease your handling and probably throw off your ride. You do know that the SS suspension was designed on the famous Nurburgring. If you want to throw that away for looks, then be my guest. I, and many others, will HIGHLY recommend that you do not do this, but in the end it's up to you. Just remember that power is nothing without control.

I say you lower it if you want. It looks good like it is but lowered would look even better in my opinion.

You could try a slightly taller tire too... to fill up the wheelwell gap better. Maybe 225/50, or 235/45... compared to the stock 225/45. Kind of expensive though...

I think someone on here has thrown their previous HHR's goldline springs on their new SS. I can't remember who it is though. I'll search for the thread.

There is a guy on cobaltss.net that lowere his new turbo cobalt ss and has no problems and in was "Tuned" for the Nurburgring, i mean it cant be anything to special were not driving Ferrari's. If i had a SS i would throw a Eibach pro kit on it. As a matter of fact there is someone on here that has a red SS and he lowerd and put black wheels on his.
