But with all that you are doing, isn't a tune, which would be even more effective, be a much better way to go? I know when I had my tune done, it ran much stronger and shifted much better.

The auto is indeed a 4T45-E.
Way back before custom tunes were available. I ran one of those B&M electronic shift kits (loosely called that) in my 96 1500. It's a pretty easy hookup and does increase line pressure for somewhat firmer shifts. But it wires into the harness that goes to the tranny (splices). So you will run the rise of a wiring problem if moisture get in the harness.
IMO opinion, was not worth what it did. It only changes the computer reading to the tranny.
