This is a generic kit that fits so many applications, I can't see it maiing that much of a difference. I know some have posted rave reviews of it, but I have my doubts.

Oh no... Here we go... another really affordable performance enhancing doodad which will in all likelyhood suck me right in.

Whoever does it first, please post pictures.

But with all that you are doing, isn't a tune, which would be even more effective, be a much better way to go? I know when I had my tune done, it ran much stronger and shifted much better.

I just don't see how this unit can really change it much.

I would love to get a tune on mine but its much more expensive, I really just want quicker shifts more than anything.

The auto is indeed a 4T45-E.

Way back before custom tunes were available. I ran one of those B&M electronic shift kits (loosely called that) in my 96 1500. It's a pretty easy hookup and does increase line pressure for somewhat firmer shifts. But it wires into the harness that goes to the tranny (splices). So you will run the rise of a wiring problem if moisture get in the harness.

IMO opinion, was not worth what it did. It only changes the computer reading to the tranny.

I'd be wary of adding something like this to an SS. If it was made to work on Cavaliers and Sunfires, well..................
