Nowadays if its the same type/model trans then they are the same,,no internal/external changes cept mabe a different design mount..so what works for one works for all...the main difference would be in the programming..shift points would vary to type eng and gearing, the pressures would probably be a tad bit higher on the SS for obvious reasons.
Aftermarkets tend to go above and beyound factory settings..if they didn't then why bother spending all the money to market? The bigger question here is..can the trans handle the increased pressure over a long period of time or will parts start failing because of the increased stresses?Only time will tell......
