Back in the shop
I just picked up an 08 ss with 29k. Had to take it back 3 times within 2 weeks already for hesitation problems. The first time they said it was due to getting some connections wet while detailing. Next they said it was due to an oily k&n filter and now after they could not find anything wrong after testing it for 2 days. I will be picking it up tomorrow. Any advice on what would be the problem?

The dealer should be able to tell, take it to finley chevrolet, they're good.
Also when your there have them check the fuel pump. Lost mine 59 miles from Vegas and I think part of the reason was it was 106F outside.
Just a guess, but worth a look.

Easiest way to tell if your SS has an upgrade is the sensor at the top of the intake mani in front of the engine, it should have a blue Bosch sticker IIRC (haven't been under the hood in mine in a bit). Also you'll have a carb sticker under the hood, and the fuel sticker on the gas door should say "premium fuel only".

I just got the car back and it is working fine so far. The service guy said that they did not find anything wrong but did some updates to the computer. I also checked for the upgrade and found the bosch sticker. Yeah!!
Thanks for all the info
