Blue Flash Owner.

Well we finally picked our BFM SS on thursday of July 17th. It is a 5spd lsd, sunroof, floor mats,xm radio and black on black interior with sport seat. Of course it is loaded with all the other options. We had to drive 2 hours to pick it up at a friends workplace,an out of town dealer, and drove my low km 97 2500 to pick it up,we had to book it back doing 150kmph to get back and sell the car it replaced, and boy did it kill my truck for mileage. So we've had it for 7 day's now,put 1500kms,avoided 1 hailstorm and killed about a million bugs with it,and all we can say is wow. This is the perfect family vehicle for us and is it fun to drive. So far the first mods are a 3 bar grille which I just have one more test fit and it is ready for paint, splash guards which I should be able to trim up and install this weekend. And 17" winter wheels off a G6 with blizzacks. We have put in a request for a Magnaflow exhaust order, and I plan on building a new intake system. I am seriously thinking on the Hahn tuner as well. Well I have to go for some more training tonight,so I'll post some progress pics later this week I hope.

Congratulations!!!

I'm really loving that color on the SS, makes me want to trade my 2LT for one of that color. It's a nice medium color that looks like it would not show the dirt so much at all.

If I could find that color in an auto with options I want anywhere near me, I might just jump ship on the victory red.

Your picture is about the first one that I have ever seen that shows the paint off in a way that it looks damned sharp!

Congrats! Enjoy your SS, I know I do!

that is the only photo i have seen of a BFM that I like. I'm still not a fan of it looks kind of purpish or pinkish sometimes, but that's just me. Yours looks great.

How are you doing a 3 bar grille? I had thought the grilles from a regular hhr and the ones from an SS were different sizes, and usually the idea of doing a 3 bar is to achieve a similar look of the SS grille. If you're taking it off what are you doing with the SS grille?

Yes the grilles are different sizes,I have not decided what to do with the gap
yet, waiting till next week. Just too busy right now,as for the old grille, probably mount it on the garage wall.
