Well I took mine in w week ago Tuesday. The pump was installed the same day as they has one instock.

They got it on it worked and every is fine but they keep getting an low voltage code and the check engine light.

It was rewired several times with no improvemnt. THe TAC told the dealer to get a new engine harness and put it on with the idea it had too much resistance.

Well getting a wire harness has been a problem as no one has them instock. The manager for the part distribution center had to get involved and get a harness sent from the supplier who I assume is in Mexico?

The harness is to be here today or Monday. At this point the Service manager said they will put it on and hope it fixes the light. He has been upfront and honest about this and said he is not sure even if this will work. They are at this point doing what GM tells them to do.

If I they get mine solved I will get the info and post this. Up till I had the TSB done my SS has been trouble free. Other than the reare hard pedal.

I wrenched on cars long enough to know this sometimes happens and have been ok with the dealer so far. I know they want it fixed as much as I would like it back.

I just want it back with out any potential future problems related to this. So I am willing to take the time now so that it is fixed correctly.

Update:
Got the car back from the dealer. Started the car up twice in last 6 hours, no sign of brake issue. Big test will be tomorrow morning's startup (weather is still cold here), but here's hoping.

Looks like 13 parts total, 11 different part numbers, as part of this fix.

Thanks to all in this thread, all who've responded to me in the numerous thread this has been posted, and for ChevyMgr for keeping us all in the loop regarding this fix.

Have you gotten your SS back yet?

I am still a waiting and into week 3 starting today.

They have been waiting for a harness on the engine that had no part number and had to be sent from the GM supplier to the dealer. The dealer is not happy with GM on this one so far just as I am not real happy.

They did give me a HHR loaner finally.

Mine went into the shop today. They said they had all the parts and that they have already performed this fix a couple times so I hope to have it back tomorrow. It better not take too long cuz I cannot stand driving this little slow cobalt with no options. I tried to get a Z06 for a loner but they wouldn't let me.

Well I got it back today. The problem was a connector in the harness that did not have a part#.

The connector was creating a code that sent a low voltage code in the system. This put on the check enigne light even if the pump was working.

They got the connector in form the vendor for GM since it is not a stocked part.

Well the new part came today and it is on. Everything is good and I am now just going to wait for my turbo kit and I ready for spring.

I too had the stipper Cobat for a week and was not reall impressed. Then they gave me a 2009 HHR LT. It was nice but I missed the power and the 2.2 got about the same mileage was the 2.0 turbo.

My buddy really like.

At least I knew where all the buttons were.

Dieing without my car. Today is the 3rd day without it. I waited for a while before saying OK to the fix. But apparently its a bear of a job, I hope today my ride returns - and with all of it's boost.

Mine is in for the second day right now. Hopefully it will be done today. I really dislike the Trailblazer they gave me as a rental.

Not really a bad job if they don't have issues with it. Mine it was just a connector that needed to be found and replaced. If it had not been for the connector it would have been on day.

Well this brake vacuum issue got to the point that we had a hard brake pedal and abs buzzing nearly every 6 hours of sitting. So from overnight to 1/2 day with an issue. Took the car in Monday and of course the dealer had NEVER heard of the issue. He looked up the TSB and took the car in. Parts are ordered and will be here next Tuesday. I was told to pick the car up and drive it until then...no loaners available. Interesting...just drive the car with a brake issue and hey no big deal.

I am also going to have the Stage one kit installed if I can find one. I emailed the service writer all the info I could find. We will see what they estimate the costs to be.

They also replaced a key fob and fixed the rattle in the headliner. two issues down and one to go. They looked at the doors being slightly off in color and have seen that before. Only on the Victory Red. We agreed it's just not bad enough to repaint it.

We just rolled 9k in miles.
