Get an art brush or sponge brush to apply it. The one with the kit is pure rubbish...it'll start to fall part on you as the paint pulls the bristles out and then you'll spend your time trying to get those off your calipers.

A few more questions...
Any suggestions on preping the calipers?
Is there a prep solution in the Dupli-color caliper painting kit to clean all the brake dust and grease off the calipers?
Did you completely remove the calipers when painting them or did you paint them while they were on the vehicle?
Drying time?
Anyone photograph the process or is there a "How to" here on the forums?
Thanks...

I would very highly recommend Eastwoods 2 part brush on caliper paint. It is very durable and easy to apply. It has nasty chemicals in it so use plenty of fresh air circulation, just having your garage door open is not good enough, you need forced fresh air. Have all the wheels off, and the calipers thoroughly cleaned before you mix it, and follow instructions precisely. It is plenty for 4 calipers, so if you have something else to paint, think about that ahead of time. See this for result: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/hhr-ss-45/red-calipers-14437/

If your going with the duplicolor kit the cleaner supplied will work fine, Ive done several sets b4 and never sanded them, just make sure that you tape off the rotor b4 painting, also a piece of paper on the floor for drips, and i also suggest some black high-temp spray paint on the unused part of the rotor so you dont see that nasty rust.
