I am a sales person for Chevy in Canada and we are looking at 3-4 months delivery on new HHR especially the SS. Hope that helps.

Sincerely appreciate the information, any reason for the delay in delivery to Canada?

Sept. 18/08- No reply from Mr. Lutz yet...no surprise considering it's customer service...I guess I'm a "has been".

Good luck with that, But I am not too confident. Let us know if you get the Production number and build date.

Hope we're wrong but I suspect the same. Wrote my Dealer to inform them I don't think I can continue to wait on this and will drop in next week to pull my order. Looking around now for something else, maybe a new Camero - it should be available in about the same timeframe

I'm suspicious that the release of the SS to Canada is associated with the braking problems that are prevalent in the automatic version of this vehicle. Suspect GM Canada and/or the Canadian Government is preventing the vehicle from being imported (built for Canadain destinations) till this problem is resolved. With the US productions delays associated with the RPD option there should be plenty of production slots opening up to build our cars???

Ok if this is the case would the Cobalt SS with the same engine not have the same braking problems? If this is the case I have seen a 2009 Cobalt SS on a lot locally and know of one more on a dealer lot.

have seen an ss in milton and test drove one in mississauga. they are easily had. im waiting for a panel. i would bet they are waiting for other dealers to get thier early order stock and see if your order becomes available. if not they will put the order through. its a ten year relationship, i dont mid a few month delay.
plus sounds like they are working out mechanical issues.
