Both US/Cdn HHR's built in the same factory in Mexico, same terminology, TBW (Target Build Week) for all of us.

There was a delay on the build of Canadian SS, in fact they wouldn't even accept an order from Canada till about a month ago. As such, our problems have been unique and separate from the UAF issue plaguing the US vehicles and/or in fact any technical problems. It's been an extremely frustrating process for us Canadians and till I hear that mine has actually been built (Tuesday I hope) I'll continue to worry.

Woohoo - Word from my Dealer, my SS is built and ready for transport and they even have a VIN number for me! Colour me excited.

What day was your car built or did they not give you that info? I still have not heard from my dealer so maybe I will have to drop in on him or giva a call.

 

My dealer is printing off screen images and reports as we go along. I'm droping in tomorrrow to get the latest which I'm hoping also has the build date on it. Right now I don't know, but yours has got to be in the same batch.

 

Well Canuck I will Colour you Excited if you will Colour me Imperial Blue, My baby has been shiped and can expect it "Most likely next week" I am looking at the invoice from Oshawa with the Vin, and ship date was 10/06/08.

 

sales guy calls and says the vehicle will be in transit this week. should arrive
last week in oct. will be getting vin soon so i can get it insured. my happiness
is offset with the thought of payments

 

Imperial Blue you are! Shipped and an eta of next week, you dog! Give me a break. I was told shipping was usually 4 weeks, my dealer is telling me 3 and I haven't had confirmation of shipping yet but suspect it is happening.

What DAY was your build? Do you have a VIN number?

 

Have the vin but no Build date. Have to go in today set up payment.

Cannuck my happieness is also a little squed by the payment factor now....

 

Just when you think ordering and waiting is behind you, the dealer calls and said he has the order forms in for the new Camero and I have first right do I want to come in and place the order?
