Entered my SS in two events last year, an all-Chevy show and a truck show. Went with a group of guys who were showing more appropriate (older) vehicles at their suggestion as they thought the HHR would be a hit. Turns out there was minimal interest in it by either spectators or participants both times. So no more shows for me but I'm open to cruises or informal displays in the future. This car is mostly just fun to drive and it's my daily driver anyway and no show queen.

It's usually bikers that are interested when they see the SS on the doors.

I think it looks more dangerous with the black CSS wheels
Funny how a GTO looks better next to a dumpster! Not their best design year.

I wonder if the SS will draw any attention if there are any still around 25 years from now?

The wife and I entered the Charleston AFB Open Car and Truck Show this past Saturday. The wife entered "Vetfevr" of course

and I entered "Blue Beast" for the first time.

The main reason I entered the SS was the wife's parents were visiting us this weekend and wanted to go on base to the show. Next it was so hot, that way if her parents wanted to leave early I could run them home in the SS. While cleaning the SS up after arriving I had alot of the participants ask my about it. Even a Ford dealer who was a show sponser asked alot questions about it! I was in the 1990-2010 open class which had 12 cars in it. The first place winner was a 2009 Dodge Charger, second was a 2010 Chevy Camero SS, third was a 2010 Chevy Camero RS all three were pretty much stock. It was fun to take it to a show to talk and bragg about it!

Definitely not cokin or hoya. Probably an asian knockoff from eBay. Like to use 6 or 8 points on cars, but it can get over done and old quickly.

I like how you can stack multiple filters with a Cokin set up.

C'mon guys, I keep thinking there's going to be car show pix

Like this Impala that tried to extort gear oil from me

I walked the show and saw quite a few Camaro SS, some Z-06s and a turbo Skye with Lambo doors.
I also saw about a dozen folks checkin out my washed/waxed/shiny SS in the 15 minutes I was near my car.
