Changing SS fog light bulbs?

To change the fog bulbs, do you need to remove the wheel well covering, or can you get at them from underneath? I don't have jackstands or anything to put the car up on to look underneath, so I figured it'd be easier to ask here. Thanks in advance...

gotta do it from the wheel well, but the fogs are twice as easy to get to than the headlights....

Got it, thanks. Any special tools for popping the wheel well out of place?

A standard panel popper is what you need for the buttons, but be VERY careful... the metal tabs on the fender bend quite easily. You'll also need a socket for 4-5 screws. I don't remember the socket size... pretty small-- maybe 9/32" ?? There's also one "button" that appears to be something you need to take out, but you don't. It's near the apex of the fender, in the middle, and heads straight up. That's actually a long button that stabs into a piece of foam about the size of your hand. You can leave that one in place and just pull the inner fender with that attached. Also (and near the one I just mentioned), there's a button that is horizontal, and presses into the crash frame that lines the engine compartment (aka the steel panel that separates the fender from the engine).

Jebus, what a pain in the ass. Well, once my yellow fog bulbs come in the mail, and I manage all that, I'll post up some pictures. Thanks for the headsup.

Ugh...tried and failed miserably to get the buttons out to pull the fender liner back. I'm not exactly "handy". I'm afraid of putting too much force on them, and was using a flathead screwdriver since I don't have a panel popper right now. Looks like a trip to Home Depot.

Get a panel popper... it's simply not doable (if you want to retain your sanity) without one. However, I'd be surprised if HD has these. You may want to try a well stocked auto parts place (NAPA or other "real" store... probably not Pep Boys type stores).

^ yea that's my mission today, like you said HD and Pep Boys both had no clue what I was talking about when I called to ask if they had them in stock. Go figure.

That's why it's called Home Depot and not Car Depot.

Can't explain why Pep Boys wouldn't have a clue. I've never set foot in one of those stores.
