We got a part number 25867553 from the link Olblue had. I just find it hard to believe they make 1,000 different spec springs. I would get some calipers and compare some measurements.
I did notice that the C5 spring is different to the C6 spring and seems to be interchangeable and preferred.

Ok, I missed it, the link starts on page 2 of that thread. That is the correct part number indeed. And it's listed as for HHR SS only. Thanks for finding the part number and posting it here.

Yes that is the correct part number and I also just can't believe that there is none anywhere. I called Chevy dealers in CA and FL and everyone here in the state of VA, none anywhere!
They told me that the HHR SS was one that they didn't make a lot of so I guess with that they decided not to make parts for it. In order for me to get my slave cylinder I had to but the complete clutch kit and even with that they took the part number and had to cross reference it.
I love my car and don't want to get rid of it at all! But as soon as i get it paid for, she will be a weekend only car! LOL

I'll bet that a well placed bungy cord would work as a temporary fix........................

You would have to start at the top and start either ordering or calling them one by one!
I’m retired, and I’d do that for you, but I think I will just go out and wash my BlackSwan and go for a cruise!
