Colors on hhr ss

I was just wondering how much, if any, the different colors affect the values of the HHR SS vehicles. I know they were limited on colors available but wondered if one color is the best as far as resale value and which might be considered the worst for resale value.

Welcome!

The best place to look for value info is KBB.com. (Kelley Blue Book)

Welcome to the site.

Color doesn't seem to factor in much on the value. Just some colors can be a little harder to come by.
Red, black and silver are the most common as far as SS numbers made.

if you go to bluebook values on line. put all your info in, leave it the same just change the colors and there you will find that there is a difference in price for each color believe it or not..Black actually has a deduct for that color.

Welcome by the way

Welcome to the site. I think Flash Blue was the premium choice of color at the time, you had to special order that color. It changes in the sunlight. It was available for the 09 and 10 I think.

I have Blue Flash Metallic and love it. Thankfully, I got mine used at a Ford dealer, and didn't have to pay up - at all. They couldn't see why I didn't want a Mustang (of any sort). I won, though.

I do wish I had Victory Red, though... I'm thinking, for an SS, that might be THE color. The Aqua Blue is better than Blue Flash, and it was available in '09-'10. Blue Flash was, I think, a 1 year deal...

There are some Cobalts and Vues with that color, but not many. It's rare.

There's one of those around here, too. I think it IS Crystal Red, and it looks really nice.

Kelly Blue Book, when looking for color appreciation, is state/area dependent. A couple years back, I helped a cousin in Indiana sell his RED Ford extended cab. It was, IIRC, a $267.00 premium (I remember this because we were quite surprised). When I entered my ZIP code here in Arizona (he was thinking about driving it out here, selling it and flying back) it was less overall....including the color.

I can understand black being an undesirable color in Calif. It's the same here in Arizona......the sun and heat, you know.
